Welcome to our little corner of the Internet. In our former life, the Regency Chronicle was a snail mail circular created in 2013 by a group of friends who loved the Regency era, shared reviews, and got together occasionally. Over the years, we expanded our focus to broader historical content, and gradually built our mailing list until postage costs got the better of us in 2020.

We belatedly transitioned to an email newsletter during Covid and then decided to build this website, a project we are still working on, slowly entering past content between adding new reviews. We are proud to feature in-depth, impartial reviews of historical fiction, non-fiction, drama, podcasts, and merchandise.
